Taylor Spoltore, MMFT, LMFT, ADC

Taylor has experience with families, adolescents, and individuals. She is especially skilled in working with clients who are working through identity challenges, adolescents and their parents, and couples who are rebuilding relationships after major stressors. Taylor also provides aid to clients struggling with recovering from a trauma, anxiety issues, and mood disorders, as well as those going through major life transitions.

An exciting opportunity that is part of Taylor’s practice has grown out of a need for connection that many people feel in an increasingly disconnected world. Several times a year Taylor hosts weekend retreats for some of the women in her care. At these connection-rich events the focus is on self-care, restorative moments, and group activities designed for shared meaning-making and the introduction of joy.

Trauma shows up in ways that we sometimes do not quite expect. If you cringe when people say that you have an ‘old soul’, maybe it’s because you know why yours had to age beyond its years. Trauma that is not processed doesn’t just go away - it finds a way to be expressed. Depression, sadness, suicidal thoughts, and unexplainable physical ailments are all markers.

I use treatments that have been proven effective with disorders including PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I also have extensive experience treating suicidal ideation in individuals, responding to critical incidents in organizations, working with families who are experiencing the impact of personality disorders.
